New Wave Logins: privacy policy
New Wave Accounting. Last updated 29 October 2026.
New Wave Logins is a browser extension for New Wave Accounting staff. It fills in New Wave's work logins, held in New Wave's internal platform (NW Intelligence), on the matching website's login page. It is not for use by the public.
What it handles
- Login details: the username, password and two-step login code for a login the staff member has been given access to. These are fetched from NW Intelligence only when the staff member clicks Fill, are placed into that website's login form, and are not stored by the extension.
- A connection token: a random token that links this browser to the staff member's NW Intelligence account. It is kept in the browser's extension storage, expires after 30 days, and can be disconnected from NW Intelligence at any time.
- The current page's web address: read only when the staff member opens the extension, to show the logins set up for that website and to check a login is only filled on its own website.
What it does not do
- It does not read, collect or send browsing history, page content or anything typed into websites.
- It does not run on a website until the staff member clicks it, apart from NW Intelligence itself, where it only connects the browser.
- It does not sell, share or use any data for advertising, and it sends nothing to anyone other than New Wave's own NW Intelligence platform.
Records
NW Intelligence records each use of a login (who, which login, which website, when) so New Wave can see who has used its logins. These records stay inside NW Intelligence and are visible to New Wave's Logins managers and to the staff member.
